T h e m e n r e i s e n : Wettbewerbsfähigkeit durch Nachhaltigkeit – A Transformative Journey
I am thrilled to share the success of our brainchild, the “Themenreisen“ event series. Themed around “Competitiveness Through Sustainability,“ this initiative is strategically designed to prepare German Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) for the integration of ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) aspects into their operational frameworks. The inaugural event, hosted on the 24th of October at the historic ‘Wolkenburg‘ in Cologne, marked a pivotal moment for EUTECH and the participating SMEs.
Our overarching goal of “Themenreisen“ is to guide SMEs towards a sustainable orientation that not only aligns with the global push for responsible business practices but also enhances their unique competitive advantages. EUTECH encapsulates this vision through a 6-fold strategy:
1. Recognizing Opportunities:
Identifying avenues where sustainability can be integrated to enhance business prospects.
2. Promoting Innovation:
Encouraging a culture of innovation that incorporates sustainable practices into technological advancements.
3. Maximizing Advantages:
Leveraging sustainability as a competitive advantage in the market.
4. Evaluating Risks:
Methodically assessing and mitigating risks associated with sustainable business practices.
5. Increasing Flexibility:
Adapting to changing landscapes by fostering flexibility through sustainable strategies.
6. Building Resilience:
Strengthening the resilience of SMEs by incorporating sustainable principles into their core operations.
The kickoff event not only set the stage for insightful discussions but also provided a platform for SMEs to engage with respected speakers possessing extensive expertise in sustainability. The historical backdrop of ‘Wolkenburg‘ added a touch of grandeur to the proceedings, symbolizing the importance and gravity of the discussions held within its walls.
Exploring New Horizons: Themenreisen‘s Triumph in Nuremberg
In a remarkable sequel to the Themenreisen event series, the second gathering held in Nuremberg on December 1, 2023, emerged as a resounding success. Aptly themed “Competitiveness Through Sustainability – A Transformative Journey,“ the day unfolded with enriching discussions and the exchange of valuable insights from distinguished experts in the realms of sustainability and competitiveness.
I must say, the recent Nuremberg event not only set the stage for insightful discussions but also provided a platform for SMEs to engage with respected speakers possessing extensive expertise in sustainability.
